BEGINNER (A1): INDIVIDUALS WITH LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE IN THE LANGUAGE;

AIM IS TO LEARN:

– the French alphabet and numbers

– how to properly pronounce main sounds and words

– the different nouns, their gender and number, as well as feminine and plural adjectives

– how to greet and say goodbye, as well as introduce and talk about yourself / someone else

– vocabulary about professions, and how to speak about your current job

– the days, the months, and the seasons

– some leisure vocabulary, and how to speak about hobbies

– how to ask and give directions

– how to speak of nationalities and countries

– to ask questions: open or closed and express negation

– how to conjugate verbs in « présent, impératif, futur proche »


 

INTERMEDIATE (A2): INDIVIDUALS WITH SOME KNOWLEDGE OF THE LANGUAGE;
AIM IS TO LEARN:

to conjugate verbs in « passé composé, imparfait, futur »

– to ask questions with interrogatives pronouns, adverbs and adjectives

– to speak about the body / health topics, as well as expressing tastes and preferences

– to tell time, as well as 15, 30, and 45 mins past the hour

– how to speak about one’s habits and daily activities

– vocabulary around money and, how to exchange it

– how to reserve accommodations, and speak with staff

– to talk about the weather and different climates

– how to order in a restaurant, and buy fresh products at a market

– vocabulary around shopping, clothes, sports, and other useful general topics

–  to start to listening to podcast and answer questions about the material


 

ADVANCED (B1): INDIVIDUALS WITH A GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF THE LANGUAGE;
AIM IS TO LEARN:

– to discuss current events with fluency, and to debate (express and defend an opinion)

– to speak about professional and personal experience with more advanced vocabulary

– conjugation of verbs in «  subjonctif, conditionnel, passé simple »

– relatives pronoun and the plural of the compound nouns

– expressions regarding time, causes, purpose, and consequence

– expression regarding concession and opposition

– how to listen to longer podcasts, then discuss material in depth
